Some of the most time-consuming parts of managing a deal are monitoring the status of incoming wires from investors. The opaque nature of wire transfers makes it difficult to know when they have been received and processed.
To help aid in this process, the Wire Lookup tool allows you to quickly search for a specific wire transfer within Seed Labs's managed banking infrastructure to verify if a wire has been received and processed.
Every domestic wire transfer in the US is assigned a unique IMAD number, or FedWire reference number (they are often used interchangeably). This number is used to track the wire transfer through the FedWire banking system.

If the Lookup tool finds a wire, but the commitment is not marked as received, the Seed Labs team should be updating it shortly. There may be additional compliance checks that need to be completed before the commitment can be marked as received.
